Funeral ceremonies and services can seem overwhelming, grief can make the task of organising and preparing the service much harder.
Thora comes from an Irish culture that strongly believes death is just a transition to another life in heaven and that the funeral service should also be a celebration of life. As such, she can ensure that the funeral service includes the individual touches that remind mourners of your loved one who has passed.
Thora can prepare and read the entire funeral service, or she can work with you to include any family members or friends who wish to be involved.

A Gaelic blessing often performed at funerals,
"May the road rise to meet you..."

Just as we celebrate the anniversaries of other ceremonies in our lives, Thora knows it is important we continue to celebrate the lives of our loved ones who have passed away.
Whatever form you would like your memorial to take, Thora can help you craft a ceremony that is unique and reminiscent of your loved one. Whether it be a scattering of ashes, a surfside petal ceremony or a memorial of your choice, Thora will ensure you remember those who have passed, with love.
Funerals: Where to start?
If you have decided that your loved one would prefer their funeral service led by a lay person, then a civil celebrant is a good option for you. Once you have contacted the funeral home, contact Thora to commence arrangements for the service. Religious aspects and readings can also be incorporated into the ceremony, as well as graveside ceremonies after the chapel service.
Contact Thora once you have made contact with a funeral home so she can talk to you about your loved one and their last wishes
